		<description>This also reminds me of the common belief that being wet outside in the cold will lead to a cold. 

There was a study done in England where a few hundred folks volunteered to get sprayed down in freezing weather and stand outside for a good period of time. When their rates of illness were compared against the control group, there was no statistical difference.</description>

		<description>A lot of people I work with swear by this crap. I got in a fight with an idiot coworker last year because I refused to take it before a flight (true story).

On NPR today they were doing the "This is good news/this is bad news/this is not news" thing on Airborne. One of the commentators said "This is bad news because it besmirches the name of holistic medicines". Wrong - holistic medicines besmirch their own names when they make outrageous claims. They need to be held up to the same scrutiny as 'real' drugs.</description>
