History of video games

I was on Will Pate’s site and came across this video. I’ve had some good times with many of the games shown…Metroid was always badazz, Zelda rocked, I still play Mario 64, Pitfall, yes! Pitfall. Can anybody name all of the games shown? I knew a lot of them but there were games I’d never seen…

Looking over my last posts I see that you’re right. Didn’t plan it that way…

I don’t play enough video games to recognize it all. I suggest asking our many gamer peers. We could have a contest - name as many games as you can!

Man, I want to play the original Super Mario Brothers all over again.

Pong … Space Invaders … Game I have totally played and can’t remember the name … Pac Man … Game I have never played … Frogger … Pitfall … Centipede … Pole Position … Flight Simulator (?) … Donkey Kong … No idea … Super Mario Bros. (or the ghetto version … “Super Mario Fros) … Shit I loved it and can’t remember it (Duck Hunt?) … No idea … Zelda … No idea … No idea … Lots of no ideas … Battle Chess … Tetris … Lots more I don’t know … Civilization (which I loved) … Followed by tons that I have no idea … Guitar Hero … No ideas … FIFA …

God … I totally dated myself with my knowledge or lack thereof. I remember my Atari and my first Nintendo. Then, it was no video games until the Xbox.
