Yeah, it’s a holiday. I’m glad for the day off because it gives me a chance to do some sorely needed dusting. If I was still in my 20’s then I would most likely be planning on getting drunk tomorrow but since I’m not I’m looking forward to a little quiet.
Meanwhile, PlayFirst has a cool new game, Connect Four Cities. We’re talkin’ Connect Four over the internet with one of your buddies. Cool eh? I was playing this the other day at work (at lunch time!) and found myself unable to stop. I’ve also been playing Trijinx (on my Mac) which sort of snuck up on me and hooked me before I knew what happened. Alas, my score will never reach the level that some of our players are getting. The person with the highest score right now nearly reached 50 million points. That’s tough Bubba. A quick hand-eye motion thing is required to get scores that high and I’ll be lucky if I see a third of that score.
This past Sunday there was a bbq at my buddy Sanjay’s house. When I first woke up the fog was thick like a dark grey wool blanket and I thought for sure it would be terrible weather for grilling. Turns out that I’m a lousy weather man (meteorologist, please) and the fog started to burn off precisely at 1pm, leaving a blue sky and bright sunshine that bathed the backyard in a blanket of smiles.
