Natalie Raps - Update
Looks like NBC sent a nastgram to YouTube and are now forcing you to view the video from their own page. This means that the link in my other post about this is dead.
Here’s my problem with this: It doesn’t work for me. I’m on a Mac using Firefox and it just doesn’t work the way it’s supposed to. I’m sure I’m not alone in this frustration. The clowns at NBC are shutting me out because they feel that their property has been stolen. Instead of sending nastygrams to YouTube they should be sending roses and fruitbaskets.
Why don’t the brain-surgeons at NBC realize that their show hasn’t been funny in at least a decade? The ONLY thing that is keeping me coming back to SNL is the hope that there’s another video by the Lonely Island crew and I feel disappointed when there isn’t one. Robert Smigel? GMAFB. NBC should be on their knees thanking the people that took the time to “pirate” their work to share with others, thereby broadening NBC’s audience without any cost to NBC except for having to deal with free exposure.
So here’s what happens now. I will most likely miss the next few SNLs because of my schedule. Ordinarily I would just hop over to YouTube and catch up on what I missed and then resume watching the show when I could. Now that I know the content that I want is not available to me except for one place where it doesn’t work I will miss the videos entirely and NBC has just lost another viewer. Good riddance fellas, Will and Grace stopped being funny two weeks after it started.
